Kala transcends luxury architectural in Coconut Grove. While developing this brand we went into great detail to understand and celebrate the region.
One facet of this project was creating a hard bound book. We worked with renowned writer Alastair Gordon who conducted in-depth research of the history of the area and it's cultural shifts over years.
These books have been shared with museums and schools in the region, as well as shared with potential buyers.

Stillwater is a real estate investment firm in Chicago.
As the name suggests, we wanted to create a brand that instills the strong ethical standards and success of its founder. The silver mimics the still lake surface and reflections. The additional color palette is base on red, white and blue, which the clientele within this market is comfortable with. The typographic elements convey a traditional look with a clean modern touch. The icon supporting the logo depicts the idea of a wave slowly calming down and becoming still towards the top.

Sabunhome is a Baltimore based beauty and wellness store.
The object was to update their logo and align with their new company strategy. The logo had to be friendly, artisanal and natural feeling.
The hand-drawn icon illustrates the hand-made nature of their products. The flowers, leaves, and water are elements that are core to their products. The clean illustration of the icon allows it to be printed on different mediums without any issue.
The color palette of black and gold help create a traditional, modern look.

Revlon lipstick primary design. The introduction of the gem-like piece on top of the cap elevated the look of the packaging as it makes browsing for the colors easier.

The 100 years of the Coca Cola Bottle
Coca-Cola recently challenged artists, designers and illustrators around the world to recreate and reimagine vintage Coca-Cola bottle imagery and iconography using only three colors: Coke Red, black and white. 250-plus pieces were entered into the #MashupCoke project.
We invited over 100 artists representing a range of styles and approaches to collaborate with Coca-Cola – from digital artists to artisans to who take a more handcrafted approach to their work. We encouraged all of them to completely reinvent the same images our team had used. The only caveat was that their work had to have some connection – no matter how loose or direct – to the original piece.

worked on this project as Senior Design Director under Anthem New York.
Amvay was getting ready to relaunch their sports nutrition line under their XS brand and we were in charge of redesigning the product line up. Briefed right after the design strategy process, I was involved in the design process and my concept was selected as the final concept to go into production. After selection, the concept was handed over to the Anthem Battlecreek team to be flushed out and get ready for production.
Overall design is very clean, scientific with the flavor cues being very punchy and attractive. Optimized the look while updating brand feel without loosing the impact. Most of the brand is sold online or through catalogs, so it was very important to focus on the flavors and easily differentiate them.
The logo also has been updated and cleaned up to become more contemporary.

Different way to look at cooking and wine.
Electric Yam was interested in changing people's perspectives on cooking/wine. Their goal is to encourage people to cook and their approach makes the process of cooking and learning fun.
The bright colors, and photography direction invite readers to engage with them. Wine becomes less intimidating. After all, why would anyone drink wine, but to have a good time.
